As we all know, an operation can be a daunting experience for patients. In the days leading up to the procedure, it’s likely their minds will be pre-occupied. As a result, patients will invariably forget some elements of what you tell them. They may well even overlook information you told them, or emails you sent them.

How can I make it more convenient for patients?

We make it simpler for you to get important information to your patients by enabling you to display downloadable documents on your profile page.

These can include, for example, FAQs, post-op advice sheets, GLP-1 fasting guidelines, and other useful documents. This way, patients can access the information at a time that suits them.

Do you have ready-made info sheets?

Yes! We’ve compiled a collection of over 25 patient information sheets written by ANZCA and ASA (if you’re an existing ASA member) to help you. It’s a simple way to consistently provide your patients with the same fasting information, post-op advice and guidelines every time.

How do I upload documents?

Premium Plan members:

We’ll handle this all for you.

  • You can send files in PDF format or MS Word files. Attach them to an email, and we’ll do the rest.
  • Or let us know which patient info sheets from our site you’d like
  • We’ll then place them in your ‘Extra / FAQ Pages’ box on your profile page

Standard Plan members:

Whilst you don’t have an extra box to display documents, we can add a link inside your profile text:

  • Store the file in your Dropbox or Google Docs (set it to public viewing)
  • Or let us know which sheet from our site you’d like
  • We’ll add the link inside your about text section
  • Don’t move or delete the file, or the link will break
  • If you haven’t used Dropbox before, click here to receive free Dropbox space

What if I need to make changes to my documents?

If you need to make changes to files you’ve already sent us, that’s fine too. Just send us the new files when they are ready. You can update your files with us at any time.

Can I add a video?

Yes! Videos are a great addition to your profile and can be very helpful indeed for your patients.

All you need to do is upload your video to YouTube or Vimeo (or choose an existing one there), then send us the link or embed code. We’ll add the video to your profile for you.

Direct patients to your profile page for post-op pain advice. This saves you time in recovery and gives them clear information they can reference at home.
