How to find your Anaesthetist

Anaesthetists are specialist doctors focused on keeping you safe and comfortable throughout your surgery. While your surgeon focuses on the operation itself, your Anaesthetist looks after your overall wellbeing.

Your Anaesthetist will assess you before the procedure (by asking you to complete an online pre-operative health questionnaire) so they can thoroughly plan your care. On the day, they manage your anaesthesia and pain relief throughout surgery and oversee your recovery afterwards.
