About Dr Friedgut
Dr Daniel Friedgut is a specialist consultant anaesthetist with public appointments as a VMO anaesthetist at Prince of Wales Hospital, Sydney Children’s Hospital and Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital. He also has a busy private practice, including at Prince of Wales Private, Kareena Private, East Sydney Private, Sydney Southwest Private and Chris O’Brien Lifehouse Hospitals.

Areas of expertise include anaesthesia for paediatric and adult ENT and head and neck surgery, lower limb orthopaedic surgery, UGI and colorectal surgery as well as obstetrics and surgery for ophthalmic procedures.

Dr Friedgut graduated with his MBBS from the University of New South Wales in 2008 and obtained his fellowship in Anaesthesia from the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists in 2017. Dr Friedgut completed his fellowship training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, focussing on anaesthesia for upper gastro-intestinal and cardiac surgery. He holds a Masters in Pain Management from the University of Sydney and a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Ultrasound from the University of Melbourne.

Dr Friedgut provides a high quality of care to his patients, in collaboration with the surgical/proceduralist team. His patients particularly value and appreciate his calm, reassuring and accessible manner.

What do you need to do?
Not all anaesthetics are the same. Therefore, to provide you with the safest and most effective anaesthetic, it is essential that Dr Friedgut has your full medical and surgical history. In order to assist with this, Dr Friedgut requests that all patients complete the Pre-Op Questionnaire.

After completing the Pre-Op Questionnaire, Dr Friedgut's billing company will be in touch with you to discuss billing.
