Pre-Op Forms – Update: Allergies

There is a more recent update to our Preoperative Assessment form. To see the latest updates, please visit https://anaestheticgroup.com.au/preoperative-assessment-form-2024/ or try our Standard Plan’s Preoperative Assessment Form Demo here.

We know the feeling. You open your email inbox, and you don’t know where to start. With the number of emails our members receive per day, it’s understandable that they might skim-read them, to see which ones are most important.

What we also know, is that identification of patient allergies is a very important part of the preanaesthetic assessment process.

How we can help

To make this identification easier, we’ve added a new feature to our pre-op forms. This enables a quick note at the top of the forms, where patients’ allergies are highlighted.

pre medical assessment allergies

So that it’s easy to spot a patient with an allergy, we’ve set this feature up to highlight the text if the patient has indicated that they do have one. If the patient selects ‘no’, then the text will appear in black font. However, if they select ‘yes’, the text will be highlighted in red.

What’s more…

…If the text is highlighted in red, you’ll also see details of the specific allergies themselves.

How to get your forms set up

This feature is already up-and-running on our Standard Plan questionnaire. There’s nothing for you to do other than sit back, relax, and wait for your first upgraded forms to appear.

Or if you are looking to join us, why not try our Demo pre-op form here.

For Premium Plan members with customised forms, we can add this functionality to your forms too, if you like. Simply drop us a line, either by phone or email, and we’ll make these changes for you.

Don’t forget…

… Our Premium Plan members can tweak their forms however they like, whenever they like. If there’s any functionality you’d like to see added to your forms, just get in touch.

We’re always open to new ideas, so if there’s anything new you’d like to be added to your preanaesthetic assessment forms, please do let us know.
