About me
I am an experienced specialist anaesthetist and pain medicine physician providing care in Newcastle and the Hunter region through Northern Anaesthesia Service. I obtained my medical degree from Queen's University Belfast and have been practicing as a consultant anaesthetist since 2017, when I was awarded my Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA).

I currently also serve as a Visiting Medical Officer in the Anaesthesia Department at John Hunter Hospital, where I co-founded the regional anaesthesia service in 2018. My areas of particular expertise include regional anaesthesia, vascular surgery, orthopaedic and trauma procedures. I am also a Fellow of the Faculty of Pain Medicine (FFPMANZCA), providing comprehensive pain management services alongside my anaesthetic practice.

I hold additional qualifications in regional anaesthesia from the University of East Anglia and maintain memberships with several professional organisations including the Australian Society of Anaesthetists and the European Society of Regional Anaesthesia.

Outside of my medical practice, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and staying active through running. My combination of extensive clinical experience, ongoing education, and dedication to patient care ensures you receive the highest standard of anaesthetic management for your procedure.
