About Dr Blucher
As an Anaesthetist, Dr Kris Blucher is a medical specialist who helps you through your operation. Dr Blucher completed a bachelor of Science at University of Queensland (St. Lucia) before embarking on a Doctor of Medicine at Griffith University (Gold Coast). Dr Blucher completed his junior medical years at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and Mater Hospital Brisbane before joining the Anaesthesia training program, which took him to Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, Queensland Children's Hospital, Prince Charles Hospital and Toowoomba Hospital, before completing a fellowship at Sunshine Coast University Hospital focussing on regional anaesthesia/nerve blocks. He currently enjoys a mix of public and private practice throughout the beautiful Sunshine Coast, and provides holistic anaesthetic care for a mix of major orthopaedic and thoracic surgery. He is a registered consultant in the specialty of anaesthesia, and a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists.

What do you need to do?
No two patients or surgeries are the same. Therefore, to provide you with the safest and most effective anaesthetic, it is essential that Dr Blucher has your full medical and surgical history. In order to assist with this, Dr Blucher requests that all patients complete the Pre-Op Questionnaire.
