I attended Medical School in Scotland, graduating in 2005. I practiced medicine as a junior doctor in the NHS for several years before moving to Sydney for a "one year" working holiday. After falling in love with my life here and deciding to stay I specialised as an Anaesthetist, graduating from the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) in 2015. Since then I have pursued my passion for evidence-based, compassionate, patient-centred care. I am particularly interested in wholistic care, Women's' Health, and Medical Education for both doctors and patients.

If you fill in my pre-operative questionnaire, it will help me to identify issues in advance and better tailor your care to suit your individual circumstances. I believe in updating myself and growing my abilities. As part of this I may ask you to fill out a patient experience survey. This will help me reflect on what I am currently doing and guide future practice.
